BDD depends on the generosity of the community to help establish and maintain the projects we have/are implementing to utilize technology to bridge academic, economic, and social divides. All contributions are tax deductible.
BDD also needs retired computers from organizations like yours. Working Pentium 3’s or greater can also be donated to BDD as a tax deduction. [monitors, keyboards, mice and etc.]
The Following Are BDD Projects You Can Donate To:
Project 1: The Read by Six Initiative Established in North Forest, (Utilizing computers to teach pre-k students how to read and write)
Project 2:Wi-Fi Community, (Wi-Fi Network established at the Independence Hall Apartment Complex that serves physically challenged and elderly)
Project 3: No Special Needs Child Left Behind, (Once a month BDD donates a computer to the family of a special needs child. Computers help in the educational development of a child with special needs.)
Project 4: Computer Olympic Challenge, (BDD holds an annual Computer Olympic Challenge. Kids, ages 3 thru 12, compete for gold, silver, and bronze medals on computer related events.
